    Hi,Lokesh Sivaprakash

I found a large number of error prompts similar to XXXXX.msi' does not exist in your Detail.txt file, which may indicate the direction to solve the problem.

Restore the missing Windows Installer cache files and resolve problems that occur during a SQL Server update

The issue might also be related to a corrupted registry.

If the above article does not solve your problem, it is recommended that you follow the instructions in this article to clear the SQL Server. Then select the option to download the ISO file in the installer center and use the ISO file for a traditional manual installation.Regards

    (01) 2024-09-23 17:11:44 SQLEngine: --RsFxConfiguration: InfFilePath is C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\160\Shared\RsFxInstall\RsFx0700.inf

This is seems to be where things go wrong. I've seen this error before, but I have never been able to understand exactly what is going on. But it is one of these messages where I suspect that there is information that lures Setup that the file is already there, so it does not install it. But then it is missing, things go south.

Try to follow the instructions in this article: https://www.sql-easy.com/learn/how-to-uninstall-sql-server/. I have never used it myself, but some users have reported success after following the article. In fact, I learnt about the article from one of them.

Also, before you try to install again, check out this article. It discusses a known issue where Windows 11 for some disk models reports a sector size that SQL Server cannot cope with. The error you get now is due to this error, but it might be the cause for the original failure. (This time Setup it failed before it came to a point where this issue matters.)
