I had about 1500 users in my Microsoft Entra ID. These users, using their credentials, could access a custom application we made at my company.
So far so good.
Whenever a new user was required to access this application, we first invited him to our Microsoft Entra Id by using the "invite external user" option.
Recently we needed to add 200 new users, so we decided to do it massively.
The first 50 users were created successfully, however, from the next one and on, the proccess failed.
A message saying that the user launching this procedure does not have sufficient privileges.
We also saw this message in the trace logs:
Request was unsuccessful. Details: Invitations are blocked for this directory due to suspicious activity. Please contact Microsoft support for help.
And now we are completely blocked and unable to invite new users. We can't even do it manually one by one.
The user trying to do this is a global administrator, guest inviter and user administrator.
Has this happened to anybody?
Any help will be gladly appreciated.
