Why Windows HLK smart card minidriver certification test fails with Exit code: 32?

Question

WHLK certification test fails at Execute Smartcard Mini driver test itself.

Here are the things I have setup to run the certification test on my Mini driver.

Obtained the VHLK Win 11 23H2 Server from the Microsoft WHLK download page https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2196169 and hosted it on a PC using Microsoft Hyper-V.

As the above VHLK is for Windows 11 23H2 version, I have setup another PC running with Windows 11 23H2 for client.

Then by running the client installer setup following dependencies got installed on the client PC.

On the server side once, the client is available under Machine pool and status of the machine went to ready.

Using Windows Hardware Lab kit studio have created a project and selected the appropriate Smart card Mini driver Certification test.

The test starts executing and fails at the Execute Smart card Mini driver Test.

Error log reports say's : cmd /c cmck.exe certify failed with ExitCode : 32
