Dear Community,

I want to replicate VMs from Windows Server 2016 to Windows Server 2012 R2 and Vice Versa.
Is it possible in both cases? What are the comptability requirements and are there any restrictions etc ?

I found two posts similar to my case:

Here: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/c4efbe1f-01de-4cb3-989f-d7df380f8f28/windows-server-2016-to-2012-r2-hyperv-

and Here: https://serverfault.com/questions/816805/hyper-v-server-2016-and-2012r2-replica-compatibility

Ok. So, If virtual machine configuration is version 5.0(supported by both windows server 2016 and windows server 2012) then It would replicate in both cases from windows server 2016 to 2012 and vice versa. Also It would be same case when replicating between windows server 2012 and 2019 and vice versa, If I meet the configuration version 5.0?

    Thanks.
