Remote desktop new password

Question

I changed my hotmail account password because I forgot which one I had, once I changed it I tried using remote dekstop from another pc to my pc using the microsoft account on the pc but it does not log me in with the new password, does the remote desktop password not change when you change your account password? How can I fix it

Hello,

There may be a delay between your authentication server and your client.

You can try old password, if it doesn't work either, try to change your password again, there may be an authentication (token) issue between your account and authentication server
