I'm unable to connect with my azure VM and when checked yesterday it was showing Rs. 17,000/- (approx) in my azure credit balance but today the VM is not getting started and throwing error- No Credits available to perform action on Azure VM.

    Hi!

First, log into the Azure portal and navigate to Cost Management + Billing. Ensure that your subscription is active and that there are no issues like non-payment or overuse.

Next, check your Usage Details under Cost Management + Billing. Your credits might have been used up faster than expected, so review how they were spent and see if the balance was consumed.

If your subscription has a spending limit, like some free or trial accounts, it may have been reached, causing services to stop. Check your subscription details for any limits.

Also, check your billing history for any pending charges that may not have been processed yet.

Lastly, try restarting your VM. You can also test deploying a VM in a different region to see if the issue is specific to your current region.

    Hello Kumar Kislay,

    Thanks for your question.

If you were using a free-tier subscription, those credits may have expired after the trial period.

I will recommend reaching out to the billing team here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/create-ticket

    See: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-for-startups/benefits/azure-credits-billing?source=recommendations

You can mark it 'Accept Answer' and 'Upvote' if this helped you

    Regards,

    Abiola
