MS Teams drops everyone in the meeting

I co-host a Teams recurring meeting at my job. We have people who join from offices across the country & some from their homes across the country. Every once in a while, everyone will get dropped from the meeting, including me. Everyone would have to rejoin. I heard this could be happening when everyone doesn't leave the meeting at the end of the previous day. Is this the case? If not, what could be causing this issue? It's frustrating when you're in the middle of a important topic & it just drops.

    Hi @Tee Gee

According to your case description, you have encountered frequent disconnection problems in Teams meetings. Please try the following solutions to troubleshoot:

    1. Cache problem: Sometimes the Teams cache may cause connection problems. Please try to clear the Teams cache. User's image
    2. Network connection: Make sure your network connection is stable. Try restarting the router or using a wired connection.
    3. Teams web client: Try using the web version of Microsoft Teams to see if this problem exists.
    4. VPN interference: If you use a VPN, try turning off the VPN before joining the meeting.
    5. Application problem: Make sure your Teams application is the latest version. You can try to log out of Teams and then log in again. Or uninstall and reinstall the Teams application.
