Remote Desktop Client Win32 app

Good day,

I hope you all can help me with the following problem that we are facing in the near future.
Microsoft is fazing out the Remote Desktop App in the Microsoft Store. We didn't use the store version because it had no multiple display support. We always used the MSI downloaded from the Learn page. Will that still be supported for existing devices and for new devices in the future?

    The Windows App will eventually replace the existing MSRDC app, this will be announced and the document will be updated soon.

    The new Windows App supports multimonitor setups now, users are recommended at adopting the new Windows App as this will be the preferred client experience.
