I've created a GPO and even though I set the target windows version as Windows 11 and target update version as 24H2, the target devices didn't detect the 24H2 updates

    Hello,

Check the GPO settings to ensure they are correctly configured. For targeting specific Windows versions, you might need to configure policies under Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Windows Update -> Windows Update for Business.

Make sure the GPO is linked to the correct Organizational Unit (OU) that contains the target devices.

Use the gpresult /h report.html command on a target device to generate a report that you can use to verify whether the GPO is being applied properly.

If you are using Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) to manage updates, ensure that the 24H2 updates are approved for the target group of computers.

Check the WSUS synchronization settings to ensure that it is syncing the correct product and classification updates that include the 24H2 updates.

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian
