    Hi,

Do you mean "Ctrl + Shift + V" was used to Paste Text Only, but now it converts back to be Paste Format Painter?

Have you changed your Office version?

Can you find "PasteTextOnly“ command in Customize Keyboard interface?

According to Paste Text Only shortcut in Word, the "Paste Text Only (Ctrl + Shift + V)" is available for Microsoft 365 subscribers.

    • If you can find "PasteTextOnly“ command, I suggest you assign a new shortcut to it.
    • If you cannot find it, you may run macro to copy text only. For more, please refer to Suzanne S. Barnhill's reply.

Any misunderstanding, you may let us know.
