Hello,

I test migration from vmware to hyper-v, and found one of our application vm have specific application where binding to the NIC.

The application having error when running in Hyper-V environment with below error. I believe this error related to NIC where on vmware the NIC description is 'vmxnet3' and on Hyper-V is 'Microsoft Hyper-V Network Adapter'. So anyone know how to change the interface description on hyper-v?

    Hi,

You should have hidden adapter (vmxnet3) in your VM. Try removing it on the Hyper-V VM.

You can also use a StarWind V2V Converter for the conversion.
