As the title says. I tried everything regarding standard procedures such as the option in Realtek Audio Control to stop merging input and output. Didnt work 1 week ago. What WORKED was to remove everything about Realtek, just for it to reappear two days ago. I uninstalled it again, this time I did not succeed. I was able to track down three folders in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps, named:

RealtekSemiconductorCorp.RealtekAudioControl_1.1.137.0_neutral_~_dt26b99r8h8gj

RealtekSemiconductorCorp.RealtekAudioControl_1.1.137.0_neutral_split.scale-100_dt26b99r8h8gj

, and

RealtekSemiconductorCorp.RealtekAudioControl_1.1.137.0_x64__dt26b99r8h8gj

Unfortunately - no matter what I do, let it be giving myself the ownership via properties + securities, or opening cmd as admin and trying to give myself these properties, I get the access denied to delete the folders. In cmd as well as just by clicking delete. I fail to succeed getting complete ownership and I have the theory that as long as I cant uninstall these folders the problem won't solve.

AS THIS IS ONLY MY THEORY I AM BEGGING YOU GUYS, TO FIND A POTENTIAL SOLUTION TO DEMERGE INPUT AND OUTPUT, IF IT DOES NOT INCLUDE DELETING THESE FOLDERS, I COULD NOT CARE LESS, I JUST WANT TO HAVE IT FIXED!! I AM SO FRUSTRATED :(((

Kind regards

    Hello

Let's try a few more steps to demerge the input and output without deleting those folders:

    1. Check Realtek Audio Settings:

Open the Realtek Audio Control and go to the Advanced Settings. Look for options like "Make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously" and "Separate all input jacks as independent input devices". Make sure these options are enabled.

    1. Update Audio Drivers:

Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause issues. Open Device Manager, find your audio device under Sound, video, and game controllers, right-click on it, and select Update driver. Choose Search automatically for drivers.

    1. Use Device Manager:

In Device Manager, right-click on your audio device and select Update driver. Choose Browse my computer for drivers and navigate to the Realtek driver folder. This might help reconfigure the settings.

    1. Run Realtek Audio Troubleshooter:

Some Realtek drivers come with a built-in troubleshooter. Check if there's an option to run a troubleshooter in the Realtek Audio Control or on the Realtek website.

    1. Check for Conflicting Software:

Sometimes, other audio software can interfere with Realtek settings. Make sure there are no other audio management tools installed that might be causing conflicts.

    1. Reinstall Realtek Audio Control:

Try reinstalling the Realtek Audio Control. Uninstall it from Control Panel > Programs and Features, then download the latest version from the Realtek website and install it.

    Best regards

    Yanhong
