Azure Document Intelligence - Custom Extraction / Disconnected Containers

Questions:

Transfer of labelled data: currently, the trained data cannot be exported between disconnected containers (Testing 🡪 Live). Can we further check and advise on how other deployments best practices are ?
Customization of studio: please advise the feasibility of enforcing RBAC (Role Based Access Control) or similar access control at the container level to establish access control. is there any control in place?

I'd use managed identities to grant access to resources without managing credentials

Thanks, Vahid. Since the customer will be running disconnected containers, where I assume identity and access control must be managed locally within the environment where the container is deployed? Does this involve integrating with on-premises identity solutions like Active Directory?.

Transferring labeled data between disconnected containers, such as from testing to live environments, is currently unsupported.

For access control, disconnected containers require local identity management, typically achieved through integration with on-premises identity solutions like Active Directory or LDAP to enforce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

These approaches ensure efficient data management and robust access control in disconnected container environments. Consult container deployment guides or Azure-specific documentation for detailed guidance.

Thanks Avinash, so the only way is to download and manually export ? Or to a shared network drive? I have heard about docket volumes . Will this helps?

Hi Kate Pang,

The common practice for transferring data between disconnected containers is to download and manually export the data or use a shared network drive. Docker volumes can also be helpful in this scenario as they allow for the transfer of data between containers by mounting shared storage volumes. Additionally, the feature request you found is relevant and could potentially address the need for transferring labeled data between disconnected containers in the future.
