We started using Azure OCR to extract text from Images. But unfortunately, it is reading character as O instead of 0. How to avoid this issue?

To improve accuracy, consider preprocessing the image by enhancing its resolution, contrast, and sharpness. For numeric contexts, implement a post-processing logic to replace misread "O" with "0" based on patterns like phone numbers or numeric sequences. If the issue persists, training a custom model in Azure Custom Vision for specific fonts or switching to Azure Document Intelligence for structured text may provide better results.
