    Hi Aren,

Thank you for reaching out regarding the issue you're experiencing with signing in to Power BI Desktop. Based on the details and event log you’ve provided, here are a few steps to troubleshoot the issue:

    Power BI Desktop:

    1. Confirm Email Address: Ensure you’re using a work or school email address associated with a Microsoft 365 or Azure AD account. Personal email accounts like Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook.com (non-organizational) are not supported for signing in.

Update Power BI Desktop: Verify that you’re using the latest version of Power BI Desktop. You can download the latest version here.

Clear Cached Credentials: Open Windows Credential Manager, remove cached Power BI/Microsoft credentials, and try signing in again.

    For Power BI Service:

Use Work/School Email: A work or school email address is required to sign in at app.powerbi.com. Personal emails are not accepted.

    1. Microsoft 365 Account: If needed, sign up for a free Microsoft 365 trial here to create an organizational account.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any other queries.

Please don’t forget to Accept Answer and Yes for "was this answer helpful" wherever the information provided helps you, this can be beneficial to other community members.

    Thank you.
