My SQL Server resource on Azure Portal is disabled

I wanted to login into my SQL Server using SSMS and the connection completely failed, I checked the Azure Portal and I found out on my SQL Server resource that in Overview tab is a Header orange high alert, called Disabled.

I connected with success on my SQL Server and worked fine inside my database a couple of days ago and it work perfectly.

What is going on? I pay 5$/month for this service. Is there any maintenance operation ongoing on Central US that I should know about?

Please see attached my proof.

I tried also your AI support and it completely failed to deliver an optimal solution.

What is the solution for this issue?

Thank you.

    Hi there Gabriel Balinisteanu

    Thanks for using QandA platform

First, it's a good idea to check Azure Service Health for any ongoing outages or maintenance in the Central US region. Additionally, verify that your subscription is active and that there are no billing issues—sometimes unpaid charges or suspended subscriptions can result in resources being disabled.

Another step you could try is restarting the SQL Server directly from the Azure Portal to see if that resolves the issue.

If nothing works, I recommend reaching out to Azure Support they will help you with this, the link is below,

If this helps kindly accept the answer thanks much.
