How to set SerialNumber for Hyper-V virtual disk (vhdx)?

Question

In host, I can get physical disk serial number.

But in the Hyper-V VM, I can't get that.

How can I set a serial number for the virtual disk of Hyper-V VM?

Thanks for your post.

As your screenshots show, you can only get the serial numbers of the physical disks (Samsung / Predator SSDs). The Hyper-V virtual disk has no serial number and its SerialNumber property cannot be set manually.
