we got this email "Migrate Service Principals from the retiring Azure AD Graph APIs to Microsoft Graph"

we don't really know what it means or if we need to action it?

can anyone please provide some feedback in simple terms?

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) Graph is deprecated and is currently in its retirement path. It is recommended that you migrate your apps to Microsoft Graph if you have AD Graphs.

how would I know if we use this feature and if we don't, can the email be disregarded? or does something still need to be done?

Hi Marc,

Please check your azure subscription, if you are using AD graphs then you need to take actions to migrate . If you are not using it, you can ignore email.

we only have one subscription in Azure \ all services

which doesn't list graphs, does this mean we don't have it?

Hi Marc,

Can you also check this. do you have any apps registered (SPN's) which are using AD Graph ?. If yes, then you need to migrate those to Microsoft Graph. You can go to Microsoft Azure Admin Center and choose Migrate Service Principals from the retiring Azure AD Graph APIs. if you don't see anything, you can ignore.

finally found this under recommendations, it was repeated 18 timew which all had a completed status, only one had an active status,

how can we find out what this resource is?
