I have lost SQL password. What are my options to reset, or add an account?

Hello, I am running SQL Server Management Studio: 15.0.18131.0 but I can't make any changes because I don't know the password. I can access it and see the databases and everything is working but I need to make some changes, like upgrading SolarWinds Network monitoring. I am a domain admin on our network and I have access to everything else. This server isn't accessed that often and the previous admin didn't provide a password with the admin credentials.
