Connection Refused from AKS cluster to Postgres Flex server

Hi All,
I am getting connection refused error while connecting to Postgres Flex server from AKS Cluster pod. Same Postgres Flex server connection is working fine from PgAdmin.
Can someone please help what could be wrong configuration from AKS Network?

Could you please check the Postgres Flex server logs for any errors? This will help us determine whether the issue is related to the database IP whitelisting or an AKS cluster issue.

2025-01-04T12:36:22.8366667+00:00 It is random connectivity issue. Few pods are able to connnect with Postgres Flex, however few pods are getting connection refused error.

- Verify that no network policies restrict traffic from specific pods to the Postgres server.
- Make sure the Postgres server is configured with the correct service endpoints and accessible by the AKS cluster’s virtual network.
- Check the pods configurations for correct environment variables or files for database connection.
- Confirm the pods can resolve the Postgres server's hostname using DNS lookup.
- Ensure resource limits (CPU/memory) aren’t causing pods to fail.
- Review logs for connection errors and monitor both AKS and Postgres for patterns in resource usage.
- Verify there are no firewall rules blocking traffic between the AKS cluster and the Postgres server.
