Unable to Locate and Delete Large File on Windows 11

Question

A file named "gta v" is occupying 100GB of space on a laptop with Windows 11 installed, but it cannot be found or deleted. A search for the file has been conducted without success, and assistance is needed to delete it completely.

Do you have hidden files displayed? You can try to uninstall using the cmd or using third-party software like Treesize or CCleaner.

You can download the two tools PSTools.zip and TreeSizeFreeSetup.exe from the following link, copy them to your machine and unzip them. This tool can check every folder on the disk Download link is as follows:

After the installation is complete, run CMD as administrator and run the following command:

cd pstools path

psexec -s -i "treesize path"

The purpose is to open the Treesize tool with system permissions and view the disk space usage.

In the treesize console, click select Directory and select the disk you want to view:

size is the current disk space occupied by the corresponding file. We can try clicking the "+" next to the folder on the far left to view files that take up larger space:
