Embedding code from an Excel file in Onedrive does not work

Question

When I use the embed code for an Excel file in Onedrive, the content is not displayed on my website. My modus operandi; I select the file in Onedrive, go to File, Share, Embed. An Iframe code is created but when I copy it and paste it as HTML in my webpage, the content is not displayed. Blank page. It has always worked fine so I don't understand what is wrong now.

Thank you for your comment. I'm using Personal One Drive. The src code is included in the embedded code. src=https://1drv.ms/f/c/f9e0711a6859a98a.......etc.

I use Microsoft Edge as browser but have also tried Chrome and Firefox. Same results. When I use the "share with others" code generated by Onedrive and edit the iframe syntax manually then the link is working, But when I use the generated code by "Embedded" then I have no result pasting this code in my Wordpress page.

There are indeed similar issues on Q&A forum and other community. Such as this thread: Embedding part of Excel file from Onedrive in iframe stopped working.

The issue seems to stem from changes Microsoft made to the OneDrive sharing link and embedding mechanism. Microsoft has simplified URLs, which may break older embedding methods that rely on these parameters.

In the embedded URL, the previous "onedrive.live.com" was changed to "1drv.ms", the"resid"(The identifier for the file.) and "authkey"(A key used to authenticate the file’s access) information was removed.
