Deleting data in Microsoft Teams free version

Hi,I just wanted to better understand the privacy of a personal message on a free teams. If I delete messages on my personal teams chatt with someone, does the data disappear or is it stored somewhere? Wanted to try and delete whole conversations – but are they stored in the recipients inbox still?

    Hi @Luk

    The chat will be removed from your chat list. However, the chat will remain for the other group or meeting participants.

    The other participants will see that you've left the meeting or group chat but won't know that you've deleted it.

    Deleted chats are removed from all your devices and aren't searchable.
