Calendar Invites

In older versions of Outlook a calendar invite reminder would remain permanently (in a separate window pop up) until that reminder was dismissed. This allowed the calendar to be used for reminders that never went away unless you deleted. With the new Outlook, these reminders go away after the event date/time, so you do not have that separate pop up window or permanent (until dismissed) reminder. Is there a setting that can be changed so that this function is like the old Outlook?

Try toggling the Automatically dismiss reminders for past calendar events option. This article shows you where you can locate it on various Outlook versions: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/add-or-delete-notifications-or-reminders-in-outlook-7a992377-ca93-4ddd-a711-851ef3597925#bkmk_notificationsettings
