How to fix the problem of Unable to validate Number for India Region while Signing Up for Azure Free Account?

Hi everyone,

I’m encountering an issue while trying to sign up for a free Azure account. When I enter my phone number to receive the OTP, I get the following error message:

"We’re unable to validate your phone number."

I’ve also tried signing up using my mobile device but haven’t had any success.

Has anyone faced a similar issue or knows how to resolve it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    This has been a common issue here.

    Based on previous similar issues, I will recommend you try the same again with your phone to sign up.

    Also you can contact Global support to assist you.

    Use one of the contact numbers from here - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/global-customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2 and create a support ticket. This needs to be routed to the subscription team who can assist.
