Reply / Forward Icons Not Showing // Outlook 365 for Desktop

Hello,

I have 3 email addresses in Outlook 365 (desktop client). One of them is an "Outlook.com" address, then I've got a Yahoo address, and lastly, a custom domain email address from Google. The Google email address doesn't show the reply or forward icons - but others, such as attachments, importance, and flags, do show.

Obviously, as other icons are visible (and I checked columns settings under the View tab, just in case), it's not that. I've reset the column view and the master 'Reset View' under the View tab. 'Show as Conversations' is checked. Reply icons are still not present when expanding email conversations in the inbox. I've repaired my Outlook 365 installation. I've messed with the width of the inbox column. I've updated Windows. I've updated Office. I don't know what else to do. This has been a source of frustration for weeks.

Note: this has been an on- and off-again problem with the Outlook.com email address I use as well - for months. It's currently working, but I kind of expect it to stop working again soon.

I use Outlook 365, Windows 11 - and I do not use the "New Outlook". (Don't like it.)

As with most, I rely heavily upon that icon to know at a glance if I've replied to an email. Please let me know what my troubleshooting options might be.

Thank you!

Okay - for whatever weird reason, the reply icons are working on my laptop now. Right after I tested the other PC, I came back to my laptop, and voila - there they are. It's as if Outlook feared the competition from another PC or was prompted into working properly somehow. I don't know - it's a mystery - but it's working, so thank you for the suggestion which somehow appears to have made it work! So weird. But thanks!
