For a project we need access to the notification hub on short term. During signup we need to verify by phone. We have dutch fixed and mobile phones. (+31 as country code). I tried every option in the number field, but nothing seems to work. Even different phonenumbers (fixed an mobile, text an call) . What can I do?

Hi @Jelle van der Meulen ,

if you have problems with the phone validation in the Azure Account creation process please take a look here: Identity verification by phone

    Here are some additional information:

You can use any phone number for verification as long as it meets the requirements. The phone number that you enter for verification isn't stored as a contact number for the account.

    • A Voice-over-IP (VoiP) phone number can't be used for the phone verification process
    • Check that your phone can receive calls or SMS messages from a United States-based telephone number.
    • Double-check the phone number that you enter, including the country code that you select in the drop-down menu.
    • If your phone doesn't receive text messages (SMS), try the Call me option.

Source: No verification text message or phone call

Make sure to select the right country code in the drop-down and enter the phone number without the country code.

One option might be to call Microsoft's Global Support: Global Customer Service phone numbers

Maybe they are able to help.

Another option might be to give it a try with using a smartphone or a different device and a "private/incognito window" of the browser to get the registration/validation done.

I've noticed a couple of questions/threads related to this issue in the past. But none of them gave an answer how to fix this or if it was fixed at all.
