Unable to Connect to Other Computers on LAN with Windows 10 Pro 22H2

Hello,

I am currently experiencing an issue with my Windows 10 Pro 22H2 computer. I am unable to connect to other computers on my LAN. When I attempt to connect, I am prompted to enter a username and password in the Windows Credential Manager of the target computer. However, when I enter the credentials (even the admin password or a newly created user), it always says the password is incorrect. Despite this, other computers on the network can connect to each other using the same credentials without any issues.

Here are the steps I have already tried:

  1. Turned off Windows Firewall.
  2. Updated network drivers.
  3. Enabled network sharing.
  4. Update window Other computers can connect to my computer without any problems, but my computer cannot connect to others.

I would appreciate any assistance or suggestions to resolve this issue.

Thank you!

    Hello,

I suggest you open the Group Policy Manager, find Computer Configuration-Windows Settings-Security Settings-Local Policies-Security Options, and configure the following options to see if the problem can be solved:

    1. Network Security: Lan Manager Authentication Level", select "Send LM and NTML responses (&)
    2. Network Access: Sharing and security model for local accounts", select "Classic = authenticate local users without changing their original identities"

    Best Regards

    Zunhui
