Hello Ebon,
Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.
Here is an official document to fix microphone on win11 and win 10 for your reference.
If it does not work above, here are some general suggestions:
- Run the Audio Troubleshooter:
In Sound settings, scroll down and click on “Troubleshoot common sound problems.” Follow the prompts for recording devices.
- Roll Back Drivers:
If updating driver doesn’t help or if the issue started after the update, you might try “Roll Back driver” if that option is available. Also, consider visiting your microphone or computer manufacturer’s website for any driver updates or fixes related to Windows 11 version 24H2.
- Check for Windows Updates or Patches.
Other Considerations:
1.Because you also use Zoom, check their settings as well. Occasionally, those tools might need updating or reconfiguring after an OS update.
2.If you have external hardware (like a USB microphone or headset), try plugging it into a different USB port.
3.Consider disconnecting and reconnecting your microphone device or even restarting your computer after applying the above changes.
I hope the information above is helpful.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.
Best Regards,
Daisy Zhou
