For a few months I have been struggling with BSOD crashes when launching some games on my computer. I have had it happen with Microsoft Flight Simulator, Forza Horizon 5, Cyberpunk 2077, and a few other games. At first I thought it was an issue with the M.2 drive I had installed recently, but after shipping it to Samsung and a replacement being sent, the issues persist.

The BSOD seems to be more common on games installed on my M.2 drive. Games installed on my much smaller SSD typically do not have this issue.

    Hi Tristan,

You may need to provide more details on the BSOD. Find the Bug check event log entry and provide the stop code and parameters. That MAY provide an answer but will at least be a good place to start.

    Hello,

    1. If the issue occurred when we opened the games, the graphic should be the most suspicious. Try to update the driver from the manufacturer website.
    2. Based on the bsod code, we could try to enable driver verifier and collect the dump to analze this issue.

To check the dump, we could try refer to the following link.

    Have a nice day.
