1. Run Printer Troubleshooter:
• Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
• Click on Additional troubleshooters and select Printer.
• Run the troubleshooter and follow the prompts to see if it can identify and fix the issue.
2. Check Printer Spooler Service:
• Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
• Locate Print Spooler in the list of services.
• Right-click on Print Spooler and select Restart.
• Ensure that the Startup type is set to Automatic.
3. Install Drivers in Compatibility Mode:
• Download the latest printer drivers from the manufacturer's website.
• Right-click on the driver setup file and select Properties.
• Go to the Compatibility tab and check the box for Run this program in compatibility mode for.
• Select Windows 10 from the dropdown menu and click Apply, then OK.
• Run the setup file to install the drivers.
4. Use Device Manager:
• Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
• Expand the Printers section, right-click on your printer, and select Update driver.
• Choose Browse my computer for drivers and navigate to the folder where you downloaded the drivers.
• Follow the prompts to install the drivers.
