How do you archive a Teams channel in One Drive too?

A colleague has archived some Teams channels but has noticed that they are still visible in OneDrive and has asked whether there is a way to archive or hide them from the rest of the team there so they are only able to see the active channels. Please can you help.

You can't hide archived channels in OneDrive, this is by design. If you want the channel on OneDrive to disappear, you can only delete it.

As an alternative, select "Make the SharePoint site read-only for team members" when archiving, so that users cannot edit files in the archived channel on OneDrive.
