Restore computer to earlier date
I need to recover my computer the way it was yesterday. I tried to download my pictures from my phone today and when I did everything went crazy.

To recover your Windows 11 computer to the state it was in yesterday, you can use the System Restore feature if there are restore points created yesterday. Here are the steps:
- Open System Restore:
Press
Win + R
, typerstrui.exe
, and press Enter. Alternatively, you can go to Control Panel > Recovery > Open System Restore.- Select a Restore Point:
In the System Restore window, click Next. Select a restore point from the list. If you don't see the desired restore point, check the Show more restore points box. Optionally, you can click Scan for affected programs to see which programs and drivers will be affected by the restore.
- Apply the Restore Point:
Once you have selected the appropriate restore point, click Next and then Finish. Confirm that you want to proceed with the system restore. Your computer will restart and apply the restore point.
Best Regards,
Ian Xue
