I have found a related topic of 2021, referring to the security update KB5000802. The update was buggy and there were workarounds to block it. Later there was a fix to it. Today, my system has the exact same issue, but the particular update is not there to delete. My best guess is that other updates since then, might include the specific update (for some reason the coders included it in future versions). Anyway, I got several questions: - Which windows updates include it, so that I try to find ways to remove them?
- I bought my PC in September 2021 and it was functioning well until 2023. So any update from 2023 to today is suspect to bugs.
- Could it be possible that even the core 22H2 version has included the buggy updates? - Is there any way to go back to 20H2 and stay there, until MS resolves the issue (potentially for ever)?
PS
Potential security issues would cost me way less time, than trouble-shooting all those mistakes Microsoft is automatically installing the past 15 years on my computers.
So please don't make suggestions on security-related matters.
Is there any version of Windows Installation, that doesn't include automatic updates? (except of course of Windows XP, the best version of Windows ever created)
