I am trying to implement cd Release through ARM templet. I am providing override parameters which is(files system: properties.typeProperties.fileSystem -<ADLSContainerName>) to change the storage container path at deployment side. template-parameters-definition.json file in merge branch is not talking override parameters while generating release files.TemplateForWorkspace.json and TemplateParametersForWorkspace.json and after the deployment is successful still target is same as source.

Verify that the parameter names and their property paths precisely match those used in your ARM template (TemplateForWorkspace.json). Any mismatch can prevent the overrides from being applied during deployment.Also, confirm that your release pipeline references the correct parameter file (
TemplateParametersForWorkspace.json) and that it includes the intended override values.Review the
template-parameters-definition.jsonfile to verify that all parameters you wish to override are explicitly defined. If a parameter is missing or misconfigured in this file, the override will be ignored during the ARM-based continuous deployment (CD) process.Inspect the Manage hub in Azure Data Factory. Navigate to the ARM template section and check if the custom parameters are being correctly recognized during deployment. Ensure the ARM parameter configurations are properly set up and that any necessary edits have been applied.
Still having issue please share the deployment logs, as they may contain warnings or errors that can help identify why the parameters are not being overridden as expected. This information will be crucial for further troubleshooting and resolving the issue.

The challenge I am facing is, newly defined parameter in templet-parameter-definition.json is not coming in TemplateParametersForWorkspace.json when ARM templet is created.

If a new parameter added in
template-parameters-definition.jsonis not showing up inTemplateParametersForWorkspace.json, go to Azure Data Factory > Manage > ARM template > Edit parameter configuration, and select (check) the parameter you want to override. Then export the ARM template again. This ensures the parameter is included in the exported files and applied during deployment. please provide the comment if need any further assistance -
