Our dev team is trying to improve the security score and a set of recommendations we cannot figure out. The recommendation is "vulnerabilities in security configuration on your linux machines should be remediated. (powered by guest configuration). There are several recommendations that we cannot figure out. Startup support advised we needed to post on here to gather additional support. We would like to schedule a call if possible.

    Hi @Chase Fopiano

Form the explanation, these are Operating system recommendations based on these MCSB compute security baselines. Defender for Cloud uses Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark (MCSB) which is the default initiative to assesses and enforces best-practice security configurations.

The recommendations related to OS misconfigurations and I am sharing this document which outlines how to review recommendations made by the Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark (MCSB)assessment.

Additionally, to speak to support, you will need to raise a ticket.

    To Raise a support Ticket:

    • Go to the Azure Portal.
    • Click on the Help + support option in the left-hand menu.
    • Select New support request.
    • Follow the prompts to create a support ticket explaining your issue.
