Can we evaluate this state with the BITS files and Windows Update files?

What may be wrong when this result is found?

Particularly I find that about a quarter of the modules listed in troubleshooting Windows Update can't load.

[regsvr32.exe atl.dll regsvr32.exe urlmon.dll regsvr32.exe mshtml.dll regsvr32.exe shdocvw.dll regsvr32.exe browseui.dll regsvr32.exe jscript.dll regsvr32.exe vbscript.dll regsvr32.exe scrrun.dll regsvr32.exe msxml.dll regsvr32.exe msxml3.dll regsvr32.exe msxml6.dll regsvr32.exe actxprxy.dll regsvr32.exe softpub.dll regsvr32.exe wintrust.dll regsvr32.exe dssenh.dll regsvr32.exe rsaenh.dll regsvr32.exe gpkcsp.dll regsvr32.exe sccbase.dll regsvr32.exe slbcsp.dll regsvr32.exe cryptdlg.dll regsvr32.exe oleaut32.dll regsvr32.exe ole32.dll regsvr32.exe shell32.dll regsvr32.exe initpki.dll regsvr32.exe wuapi.dll regsvr32.exe wuaueng.dll regsvr32.exe wuaueng1.dll regsvr32.exe wucltui.dll regsvr32.exe wups.dll regsvr32.exe wups2.dll regsvr32.exe wuweb.dll regsvr32.exe qmgr.dll regsvr32.exe qmgrprxy.dll regsvr32.exe wucltux.dll regsvr32.exe muweb.dll regsvr32.exe wuwebv.dll]

I find the rest normal with

(This came up after following up with a WIndows Update problem which is basically mirrored in DISM error 2 and source files not found.)

Have you tried an in-place upgrade?

Not all dll's are designed to be registered by regsvr32, so that really isn't a problem.

From looking through your first post, I see that you have tried many things to the point where your PC is likely now in some unknown state where you have multiple issues.

There are a number of sites on the net that describe this process.

    https://www.bing.com/search?q=windows%2010%20upgrade%20in%20place

Basically, you install the Media Creation tool, and the run it to download the latest Windows 10 ISO. Then mount the ISO to the problem pc. Run setup.exe from it. Do not boot to the ISO. You have to run setup.exe from the OS that you wish to upgrade.

All of your apps and data file should be retained, but I would recommend backing up any critical data files first as a precaution.

It should be simple as that you say. However I may have come across a precluded category of problem.

I did saw once the in-place upgrade coming back to desktop before it finishes halfway the operation in the blank purple screen and I conjecture about some "object" missing which is needed for the operation.

I might try again with it.
