Windows Update error

Question

Hi,

I come accross the following error (i will provide screanshots) . If i remember correctly a little while back i tried to disable windows update but now i dont see the way to undo it . I found some posts about the registry but when i try to create a backup or any modifications i come to have errors . This is happening only in wuauserv folder.
