We have a new client who has no admin access to their own tenant, is currently locked out and being blackmailed by their current IT support person.

Due to theior inability to access their own tenant, they are unable to log a support ticket with Microsoft 365. I am a Microsoft Partner but I am unable to log a ticket for this as Microsoft do not allow this through the Partenr Portal.

The client is happy to comply with whatever Microsoft requires in order to get access i.e prrof of Domain ownership, prroof of comapny name, proof of payment of the MS 365 subscriptions etc.....

Further to this, the company falls under South Africa's financial services board (which would be the equivalent to the Federal Reserve or the Security and Exchanges commission) and they do not have any control over their own data or that of their clients, which makes this critically urgent.

    Hi @Alan Rimer

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, I understand the severity of this situation.

I recommend you create a support ticket as soon as possible to regain access to your tenant.

You can use the trial license to access the Microsoft 365 admin page, and from Tenant, you can seek support through Help&Support, the steps to get the Trial License are as follows:

    1. Go to the Microsoft 365 E5 Product Page Visit microsoft.com/microsoft-365/enterprise/office-365-e5
    2. Click on “Free Trial” Start the process by selecting the free trial option.
    3. Set Up Your Account Provide a personal or business email and create a username and password.
    4. Verify Your Identity Choose a verification method (text or call) and enter the code you receive.
    5. Complete the Setup Finish setting up your tenant details as prompted.
    6. Access the Microsoft 365 Admin Center Once set up, you’ll be redirected to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
    7. Find the support portal at the bottom left  User's image

    Important Notes:

Trial Duration: The free trial lasts for 30 days.

Credit Card: A valid credit card may be required to activate the trial.

Auto-Renewal: The trial will automatically convert to a paid subscription if not canceled.

Cancellation: You can cancel at any time during the 30-day period to avoid charges

Or you can call directly via Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Support

(Make sure you choose the right region)

    I hope this information helps.
