Why this address "http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=262d25e3-f589-4842-8157-034d1e7cf3a3(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=262d25e3-f589-4842-8157-034d1e7cf3a3" , with title ".Net Framework 1.1" is pointing to version 2.0 instead????

What?... when you try to install it says 2.0!!!

Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package

First you enter the URL:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=262d25e3-f589-4842-8157-034d1e7cf3a3

then you click Download

will redirect you to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/confirmation.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=262d25e3-f589-4842-8157-034d1e7cf3a3

and, if don't start automatically, you can click http://download.microsoft.com/download/a/a/c/aac39226-8825-44ce-90e3-bf8203e74006/dotnetfx.exe

When you try to install, you realize that was .NET Framework Version 2.0 that you have downloaded. Not 1.1

The link you have mentioned does display the .net framework version 1.1. After the download starts a webpage opens up which specifies the details about your download you may refer the same for more information.
