Hello

I want to start the safe mode of my Windows XP VM, which I virtualized with Hyper-V, so I can activate Windows XP. But with F8 it doesn't work, because I don't have enough time to press this key. Does anyone have a tip for me?

    Hi,

Please check if "msconfig" has "safe mode" boot option for Windows XP. If msconfig not has safe mode boot option, then we'd try more times with F8 when startup:

Please note, Windows XP is not of support for a long time, it's recommended to upgrade the system as soon as possible.

    Thanks for your time!
    Best Regards,
    Anne

    Greetings,

totally agree with @Xiaowei He , wait for VM "Hyper-V" splashscreen than just after fading, hit F8 several time (nearly 4/5 per second :-)
    Best regards.

By the way, think about install vmguest, it help a lot on XP !
