Switch Embedded Teaming and switch stack

Hello,
is it explicitly impossible and not supported to connect SET (Switch Embedded Teaming) NICs to a physical switch stack? For example, one SET team member to switch01 and a second team member to switch02, and switch01 and switch02 configured as a stack. I've been looking for information about this all over but haven't been able to find this specified anywhere. An explanation or a link to a document which explains this would be highly appreciated!

Thanks
Ueli

    Hi ,

    Thanks for your posting here.

For example, one SET team member to switch01 and a second team member to switch02, and switch 01 and switch02 configured as a stack.

I did not find any Microsoft official documents talking about this scenario. However, since SET does not support Switch Dependent configuration, after discussion with my colleagues, we think it is not supported to connect SET (Switch Embedded Teaming) NICs to a physical switch stack.

    Best Regards,

    Candy

    Hello Candy,
too bad this is not officially documented. Any chance you could reach someone that can establish clarity?

    Thanks and regards
