How to setup IoT solution

Question

Hi, We are looking to integrate our company's equipment line to create an IoT data and connectivity solution. We have a prototype with a self hosted solution as well as an AWS implementation. The data is unidirectional but will be integrated with other software including third-party. I am looking at Azure as a possible platform for the solution design and need information on resources as well as training for us to succeed. Can anyone help?

For the scenario you describe I don't think Azure IoT Hub or Azure IoT Central is the best approach. Mostly because "The data is unidirectional" ... Unless you need to connect over MQTT and\or do some computation at the Edge using Azure IoT Edge.
