Hello, community

I have a VMware ESXi 6.0 Cluster with few Windows and Linux VMs, currently I'm using Azure Backup Server with one Windows Server VM that resides on th VMware cluster
I have a possible project of migration to Nutanix AHV of all the current VMware cluster. I see that VMware 6.0 is fully supported with Azure Backup Server. But I don't see an explicit support for Nutanix AHV. What options do I have if I would want to keep using Azure Backup Server with that Windows Server VM (on Nutanix AHV Enviroment)?

I hope you can help me. Thanks in advance

Rolando

    Good day Rolando,

The answer is simple. It is not officially supported using Azure Backup Server protection, according to the documentation.

There might be unsupported solution or something in the way, but according to the public information it is not supported as you can see in the full list what is supported:

    Hello, @Ronen Ariely

Thanks for the answer. Do you think if there is possible to install Azure Backup Server connector in a Windows Server VM (hosted on Nutanix AHV). I mean, consider that Windows VM as physical machine. May be a workaround?

    Thanks!

    Rolando
