Teams "participants" list disappearing entries

Question

We are seeing intermittent disappearance of meeting participant names and icons from the Participants panel. Sometimes the list appears and then entries disappear during the meeting -- making it difficult to do roll call or to see if a hand is raised. This is occurring on the Teams client on OSX but also occurring on Surface and regular PCs. Are others seeing this issue?
