Hi...when trying to install a LOCAL HOST on my WIN10, I get a "Local ran into an EBUSY error when trying to update the host file." I have already tried disabling the firewall and the antivirus features. Has anyone encountered this issue?

Thank you in advance,

    Thanks Dave M121,

I'll try that. But i don't know what I'm editing! I may have to reach out to LBFW for that.

BTW, Arsenal look great! Little T is amazing and my team United, is going down the tubes!!!

    Hi Web, please try this:

    Open Windows Defender Security Center

Go to Virus & threat protection - Virus & threat protection settings

Scroll down to Controlled folder access

Temporarily turn off Controlled Folder Access and check to see if you can edit the hosts file

Please do not leave Controlled Folder Access turned off permanently

If that does not work, do you know the edits you need to make to the hosts file?
