Delete apps using Intune

Question

Hi,
We are using Azure AD and Intune in our company.
I have successfully used Intune to deploy Azure Information Protection in user PCs. (ver 1.54xxx)
I would like to be able to delete this version of AIP client automatically using Intune.
I thought that If I added the groups to Uninstall (like below), this would do the trick, but it's not working.
Am I doing something wrong? I thought that apps deployed using Intune can be deleted the same way by adding
users to Uninstall group.
I am trying to upgrade AIP to latest version (2.XXX)
What is the best way to do this? We have about 120+ users, all joined to our AAD with Intune.

@JT Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For this issue, I have done the test in my lab. I deploy a LOB app to my test device(included in PC group) and intall successfully. Then I delete the group in Required assignments and add the group in Uninstall assignments. Restart the device and wait for about 10 minutes. The LOB app is unstalled.

So, it is suggested to try to delete the excluded group in Required assignments and restart the device.

In my test, I test it for a different LOB app. Don't forget to restart the device. If it still doesn't work after you try some more test, it is suggested to create an online support ticket to handle this issue more effectively. It is free. Here is the online support link and hope it helpful.
