Document Library web part folders look strange

Hello ,

I have added the document library web part to page. The folders look strange when I go to a page the first time via the navigation, i.e. folders are white. Global navigation is on on the site. However if navigating the page url directly - all folders in Yellow. (the way it should be). Any suggestions what might be causing this?

Hi, @Pratibha Jha ,

I have tested in my end, the folder gets white only the first time I view the page. It seems to be an issue with the network. Say it will take some time for your browser to get the image of the icon on the first time viewing the page. After loading completely, I can see the correct folder icon whatever the way I use to access the page. Please have a try to global navigation and direct page URL to access the page after icon has been loaded. It shall both work properly after your browser has cookies on that page.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, you are right it is taking the time to load images. I have observed strange behavior. ,Folders icons are not loading if i am navigating to page via global navigation. But if i am accessing the page directly even in of case first time , icons are loading correctly. Any inputs?

Hi, @Pratibha Jha ,

Do you mean whenever you access the page via global navigation, the icon takes time to be loaded? Even after you access the page directly and icons get loaded in no time? I tried with several modern pages in a community site and not able to reproduce your issue in my end. Please have a check with the link used in the navigation. Click on the edit link and check the navigation link. And please have a check with other modern pages. Insert the document library web part in a new modern page, add it to the navigation and test again.
