Lock bakground screen when a dialog box open in asp.et

Hi
I have a Formview on a website page.
On this form view i have few buttons.
like Edit, cancel, download and send.
when i click on send button it opens a dialog box which i created with windows.form.
When that dialog box open Background screen should be locked. I am not able to do that.
How do i do it please?

There are many ways to lock the background. Could you tell us how do you write you dialog box and do you care about jquery?You could post your codes to us.It wil help us to solve your problems.
