hello

VMware Player and Hyper-V are not compatible. Remove the Hyper-V role from the system before running VMware Player.

Error while powering on: Transport (VMDB) error -14: Pipe connection has been broken.

Many documents say that hyper-voff or DG_device off. However, we've removed or off, but we're experiencing a continuous error.

Hi @dygt ,

If you have the Hyper-V role installed, make sure you have uninstalled it properly, then reboot and then try installing VMware Player again.

If you have done so, then the issue shouldn't be Hyper-V anymore, then I would suggest asking over at the dedicated VMware forum over here:

    Hi,
    For my understanding, VMware Player can run when Hyper-V is enabled under some circumstances. As you mentioned VMware Player and Hyper-V are not compatible on windows server 2016, I suggest you should go to VMware Workstation/Player official site for the solution. You may also refer to LeonLaudeIf’s advice, checking at the VMware forum over here:
