For my understanding, VMware Player can run when Hyper-V is enabled under some circumstances. As you mentioned VMware Player and Hyper-V are not compatible on windows server 2016, I suggest you should go to VMware Workstation/Player official site for the solution. You may also refer to LeonLaudeIf’s advice, checking at the VMware forum over here:
